New Season, New Bible

My Bible looks like a teenage girl’s journal, I think I need a fresh start

ps. This isn't my Bible, it's Rachel's but I thought she had some really good stuff to say, click on the image and read about it.

Are you going into a new season? I know I am. I just spent two years battling infertility and I am moving forward and not looking back. I was looking at my Bible and it's kind of a mess. One might mistake it for a teenage girl's journal, full of tear stains, heart shapes and covered in my thoughts and emotions.

As I move past painful seasons like this I like to start completely fresh. New journal, new Bible. It's not that I don't appreciate what the last season built in me, and I am so grateful for everything God revealed to me. But I am ready for a new outfit that represents the next chapter. It's kinda like you gotta get new work-out clothes when you start back to the gym.

If this at all represents where you are at, check out The Jesus-Centered Bible. It's rich in content from Genesis to Revelations pointing you directly to Jesus in every chapter of the book. There are 600 passages in the Old Testament that point to Jesus, I didn't even know were there.

But my favorite sections are called "Jesus Answers 9 Essential Questions." It won't surprise you to find out that all those big looming questions about "who am I?" and "what is my purpose?" are all answered in the Bible. These sections have really given me focus as I take on the new path in my life, adoption. Plus they also have these awesome matching journals so you can go ahead and get both right away. Here's where you can pick them up, they're free shipping just like Amazon.

If you want to go ahead and make it a full on Spring Challenge, check out the free 21-Day Devotional Series that goes right along with it.

Friends, I also want you to know whether you are in a season of pain (or growing pains), sorrow, joy, change or peace we are here to encourage you every step of the way and always point you back to Jesus.

We're all in this together,
